A Committed Sickle Cell Nonprofit Organization
Help us spread awareness about sickle cell anemia and provide support to those affected by this horrible disease by contributing to the educational and support programs offered by our sickle cell nonprofit organization based in Browns Mills, NJ. DVSCAI provides the public with vital details about sickle cell anemia.
Our efforts to disseminate sickle cell information include explaining the importance for couples to be tested for the disease's trait before they have children. Additionally, we are committed to improving the lives of those dealing with sickle cell anemia.
How We Help
Day-to-day activities in our organization range from providing up-to-date information on the disease to sickle cell research, so sickle cell anemia can be cured once and for all. We also help people or families affected with sickle cell anemia achieve and retain home ownership by providing guidance. We educate our participants in all the areas of home ownership and financial freedom. Don't allow sickle cell to hold you back when applying for financing for your next home when you rely on our team of compassionate experts to help you qualify for home ownership. DVSCAI of Brown Mills, New Jersey, promotes the relief of anyone suffering from sickle cell anemia. We strive to educate the public in order to increase knowledge and understanding of research into the nature, prevalence, treatment, and prevention of the disease.
In our efforts, we look to raise the level of awareness of sickle cell anemia among not only the public but the medical professions as well. In accomplishing this goal, it's critical to raise funds and invite or receive donations and contributions to support and sponsor promising areas of research.
Our main objective is to benefit the families in the New Jersey and surrounding areas with counseling, housing, and offering our endless support to people with sickle cell anemia. Anyone looking for high-quality and personalized service when battling this disease, you've come to the right place. At DVSCAI, we provide the attention and personal service that you'll come to expect and enjoy.
Founded in 1972, DVSCAI, formally known as Sickle Cell Anemia & Charity, Inc., started when a person close to our founders, Carolyn Lyons, served as a childcare provider to a child that died from the disease. This loss inspired us to find a way to provide education and support about sickle cell anemia. Now more than 40 years later, we still carry an unquestionable passion in instilling purpose and enhancing the quality of life of the afflicted individuals and families.
Thank you for your interest. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
